I may have been hacked/crackered, whatever, taken advantage of. and today I get this weird call from a 530 area code number saying they are with verizon and want me to add text features to my plan. No thank you. I have managed to track this cellco business and verizon could not verify the number and they called it and no one picked up. Any guesses?
Thanks Trish for your input. I did in fact call 611, they called the number, no one answered, they looked it up, no luck. So they are researching it. The 611 employee told me that they would initiate a sales call, not a partner store. I will file a complaint with Fcc if this turns out to be connected with my concerns. I am also in the process of changing all my passwords, etc.
