Civic Si 2003 Hatchback
Every time I brake I could feel my brake pedal vibrating. As I go faster there is a thumping sound and it vibrates even harder. I had my rotors/brake pads replaced and double checked by 2 mechanics to make sure they were on correctly. But still, the vibration is present. When I checked to see on dyno if I could hear anything from the outside, I didn't but saw my engine jerked back and forth as my friend applied the brakes.
BTW it is only when I apply my brakes. Otherwise it runs smoothly.
My engine doesn't vibrate either, only during braking
I've been told it could be a cv joint or something along those lines but I really don't know
I've also gotten comments about how it could be my vacuum assist unit?
