I just had my rear breaks "cleaned and adjusted" a couple days ago. Prior to the job they were pretty squeaky for some time. But right after I left the garage they started to make a strange grinding type noise and also shook my car slightly. Today while I was driving it became more extreme and my car started shaking a bit more violently. It almost seemed to be a transmission problem as it wasn't shifting as smoothly either. The check engine light also went on. Are these things related to the recent break job or am I going to have to bring it back to the garage and spend who knows how much? It's one thing after another with this car, I'm getting pretty fvcking sick of it. '98 Civic, 100,000k.
