What is causing dry, flaky labia?

The past week I noticed down there was sensitive to the touch and red, but i just tried to leave it alone. A few days ago the labia majora has gotten really dry and flaky (which at first i thought was toilet paper that got stuck, but it is dry, whitish skin flaking off!).

Here's what's happened recently:
I first noticed a rash on my face, not noticable but I could feel it. It's happened before but went away so I wasn't concerned with it, it feels like micro bumps the size of pores. (It's not acne)

THEN I had to go on antibiotics for my tonsils, and after a day or two of antibiotics I noticed the rash (but more visible) on my arms, back of neck, chest, stomach. Not a major rash, can only tell if you look close and it doesn't itch. It has gone down a little bit, I'm not concerned about that. P.s. I have NOT used new laundry detergent, face products, soap, shaving cream, etc so i don't know what caused it.

THEN (I'm still on antibiotics) is when I noticed my labia being really dry and flaking. It really only itched while working out. I know antibiotics can cause yeast infections, but it is external irritation, not internal, and i do not have discharge. Plus i eat yogurt everyday to prevent that while on antibiotics.

Since the initial irritation happened BEFORE i started antibiotics, I don't think they are the culprit. It's hard to say if it is related to my other rashes, which are going away while this is emerging.

I have been in a monogamous relationship for 2 years, and I absolutely know i DO NOT have an STD. I'm not allergic to the condoms or lube we use, as we have been using the same ones forever, and we haven't even had sex in a couple weeks. I also always shave so I know it's not from that. The only thing "new" I can think of is i bought new underwear (same kind/brand/style i already have) but some were yellow, and i heard yellow dye especially can irritate.

My question is...will Vagisil help or is that for internal vaginal dryness (lack of lubrication)? I tried using a little cetaphil cream only on the dry skin (careful not to get on mucus membrane) and it hasn't helped.

What can I do and what is causing this?! Thanks-Ps. I will go to the doctor if it doesn't go away in a week or so.
It's probably also important that I add I recently quit the pill, I have been off it for about 5 weeks. Maybe fluctuations in estrogen is causing this?
