the CBR600RR isn't really any more reliable than the Yamaha R6. Both are proven performers with a great history. I would go with whichever one is more comfortable and costs less.
Really im sure youll be happy with both bikes but in my experiance the Honda is a little more comfortable riding position and comparing it to my friends bikes is a litle more reliable.
Both are good bikes though, id go with the one you get the best price on.
