what is better to join? army or marines?

which branch is better, im joining the military and am going to go for a combat position and eventually try for special forces
 
I am guessing the Army if you want to go into special forces. Depending on how long you enlist for and what your MOS is once you get out of boot camp may determine if you have what is needed for the position.
 
i hate the army because it is so boring and stupid and i hate being told what to do all the f-ing time...but i think marines is probably the same just with more stupidness. i recommend NEITHER! go to school and get a REAL JOB!
 
Neither. I have never been able to understand why anyone would volunteer to be brainwashed to kill or be killed.
