Dude I was around when both of these were first introduced.
Camero has more mass appeal, sold more, smaller
You cant beat the look of a Camero with oversized back tires or even Slicks
Charger looks great too, a bit sportier if you ask me , but much larger car.
It' s more powerful in my opinion it would win most head to head races, but the general public bought more Camaro.
