I am a junior and like spanish and want to become fluent, but my dad tells me a history degree holds up better for getting a job in business. Can I get a Spanish degree and hope to get a good job?
For business, neither is an excellent choice, but Spanish is probably a little better. History has ABSOLUTELY no relevance in landing a business job. If you want to land a job in business, then why not study business? I have a business degree and my employer will not even accept your resume UNLESS you have a business degree. That is a VERY common practice in the real business world.
