What is best treatment for Ingrown Hairs and is this acne condition?

Hello, my son is 14yrs old and after using an electric razor he has broken out a lot on his face....I took him to doctor but she gave acne medicine that seems to make it worse....

Does anyone here know what the bet treatments is for ingrwon hairs and is thsi really acne? I dont think so, so Im not sure what the best way to get rid of it is....?

imo, ingrown hairs are not acne. i have discovered a miracle product that works for me. the name is weird, it's called "high time bump stopper 2" and you can find it in the section with african american hair products at dollar tree, family dollar and most discount stores. the stuff is like two dollars. it's just a cream you rub on after shaving.
