What is best to major in to become a lawyer?

Most Law School bound students declare Pre-Law on their degree application. Although this is not an actual major, it is a series of classes that ensure you are educated in the right areas in order to succeed in Law School. Basically you could combine any major with a Pre-Law designation. Many common majors are:

-Political Science
-Philosophy
-Sociology
-English
-History
-Business Management

A lot of what you major in also depends on what sort of lawyer you want to be. A Corporate Attorney would probably major in something business related, while anything that has a literary or social aspect to it would be your best option for a prosecuting/defense attorney, but you can do any major you want.

Good luck!
