When tester have found an error he should be able to report the error to the developer.

Bug tracking. Mine is asp.net web based project.
For a Team of less than 10 .
purely for bug tracking. and keep records of all bugs and there status. and for regression testing. when bug is found by tester he should be able to communicate to the developer about the bug and keep track on the bug until its solved. Tester should be able set priority to bug, Description of the bug. if possible do a attachment of the bug screen.
I Have used Quality center form mercury.
I know it cost a lot. some thing like that
may be with less features
