i'll admit. i am a HUGE fan of intense, dramatic movies which is why i love watching all kinds of war movies. but my absolute favorites are The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, Braveheart, and believe it or not...The Hurt Locker. for some reason, not too many people loved The Hurt Locker, but i loved everything about it. it was so intense, and made me feel grief for all those troops fighting in Iraq, including my uncle...i think it deserved to beat Avatar for Best Picture.
