I've heard of IRC and i was curious as to how it fits into the big picture. Is IRC just the generic name for software such as msn messenger and similar softwares, or is it something different.... please explain this to me.
it's similar to msn but without all the fancy gizmos. it was mainly used for business type things between workers but now its been leaked and has newer software. also you don't need to download it from a place like msn or yahoo. it can come from anyone who has it. so basically its a program by itself.
