what is an acceptable mileage showing on the clock for a new car?

'Delivery mileage' depends on how the car's been delivered: Some are driven to dealers rather than transported, but it doesn't really matter in the great scheme of things compared to what you're going to lose in initial depreciation, does it?
100 miles would be taking the mickey a bit, though.
