Hi, I have to create a photo essay of the Kokoda Campaign for my history class and I need a solemn, sad, slow moving song to accompany it. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Im not sure if these are exactly what you're looking for, but here are a few I think might work:

The Scientist - Coldplay
Hold on Hope - Guided By Voices
Broken Bride Part VI - Ludo
History - Funeral For A Friend (I think this one might be good)
Cigarettes and Cola - Jet
Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park
Wild Horses - Natasha Bedingfield
Far Away - Nickelback
Hallelujah - Rufus Wainwright
Hands In The Sky (Big Shot) - Straylight Run
Forever Young - Youth Group

Hope this helps ^_^

Richard Marx - Right Here Waiting
Its about Richard missing his wife, but could be used to describe the feelings of the wives of the soldiers who were in Kokoda.
