my pickup has a 360 in it now, but a little weak, so i am going to put a 428 in it. I am having the block specially made from the ground up but was just curious as to what is a reasonably high horsepower that wont drink my budget down the drain. This pickup is going to be a show pickup but i still want the power to be able to smoke other people off the line haha... this pickup has a 4 speed manual and i want to keep it that way, 4.10 gears in a dana 44 front and rear. Any other info just ask. Thanks for your input
well my budget doesn't allow for a rear end change yet... the dana 44 was what was already in it, but once i do have the $$ i was looking at a ford 9 inch or a dana 66... that is a little in the future though
