i always thought ranting was complaining or criticizing something. but someone told me its just when you talk about random stuff. i think there wrong but im not 100% sure? so is a rant just talking about random stuff or is it more like a tirade: a long, angry speech of criticism or accusation
i was pretty sure that a rant isnt just talking about random stuff. i mean i know a rant can be about something random but if you were just talking on and on and on about something i wouldnt call it ranting unless there complaining or angry about it but like the person stated below i would call it rambling or babbling. thanks for your thoughts
