I was looking at an ad for a house and it said, "short-sale / pre-forclosure." What exactly does that mean? What is a PRE-foreclosure? When I drive by there seems to be people living there. The house is literally 1/2 the price of comparable ones in the neighborhood. Any help is appreciated.
