Okay, this fish is plain has little taste, in other words boring!..However it is very cheap...

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to add some decent flavour to this fish, sauces, dressings, etc.

miracle whip with relish and chopped onions with a dash of Worcestershire sauce

What fish is it?
Most of the plain fish do well cooked in a little white wine flavoured with the herbs of your choice - I like tarragon or fennel or dill - others go well too - even a herb medley!
Add a little sour cream or plain yoghurt to the juice when it is cooked & pour over.
Depending on the fish & what size it is it only takes about 10 - 15 minutes to cook.
I stick mine in a bag & steam it.

Get two plates
Fill one with tabasco sauce.
Fill the other with yellow mustard.
Dip fish (both sides) in first plate
then in second plate.

Roll in salted cornmeal and fry.

You won't want any 'sauce'.
It is the most delicious (and NEVER HOT)
fried fish you will ever eat!
