What is a Historico-theological analysis?

I have been asked in school to write an Historico-theological analysis of particular religious figure, event or movement and I guess I am just unclear of exactly what is expected. Also I cannot find anything helpful by a regular search engine search. Does anyone have any actual experience with this. Thanks for any help you can give.
