What is a healthy lifestyle for a teenage girl?

I'm almost 14, and I'm very athletic. I play sports two seasons a year (soccer and swimteam both seasons), and am in lots of off-season training programs the rest of the time. I have no trouble staying in shape, but I have no self control when it comes to eating healthy. It's not that I don't want to eat better. It's that I can't resist trading a healthy salad for a starchy burger when given the chance, or a glass of water for a bottle of pop. Does anyone have any advice on beating those cravings? Any other advice on how to live better?
