What is a good way to reveal the sex of the baby to family and friends?

Want something creative!
im hoping i can find out on the 27th which is next friday. My husband wont be able to come to the appt because of work but....that is such a good idea of having the dr put the sex in an envelope and than my husband and i can find out together!

I was still in shock when I called my mom to let her know that she was getting twin grandaughters but for my in-laws we gave them two pink onesies

I don't know if you already have the nursery ready or what not but you could wait a few weeks and tell them they have to wait and get the nursery all decorated in the mean time and just invite them over to very pink or blue nursery! Its not really that creative I guess but it adds a little element of surprise that could be fun.

Or you could get little gifts like maybe a onesie that says "this little boy/girl loves his/her grandma".

Those are all the ideas I have right now but if I think of anymore I'll let you know. Good luck and Congrats! Which one is it, if you don't mind me asking?

We were expecting a girl so we sent pink flowers and maybe even a balloon saying "It's a Girl" to my parents and my husbands parents. It was a nice surprise for them.

We kept it simple. We got everyone excited and waiting for us to text after the appt and sent a picture text of the photo with the arrow pointing at the parts.

I don't think our family and friends would've wanted to wait for a party or something extravagant. There was shopping to be done and they were chomping at the bit to start.

Give a present or you can make a game of it and suprise them at the end or you can give a hint or you can order a cake or pizza and write the sex of the baby! good luck!

be careful with the envelope, make sure your dr has you look away during the private parts look, because its very very noticable at what your having, we noticed a girl b4 the dr did, little girl with have nothing and 3 little lines taht are whiteish, and we know what a boy has lol so i'd make him aware ahead of time and then look away when hes checking and have him write it down, place it in envelope and go home and open it w/ friends/ family/ husband ect...
