One full of action like the Underworld movies and not romantic like Interview with the Vampire.

I've just started reading Anne Rice's vampire series- it's found in the horror section, so I don't think it's that romantic :). It starts with Interview with a Vampire.

Interview with a Vampire and Salem's Lot are my two favorites currently. Although they aren't they aren't action packed, they are very good.

Have you tried Bram Stoker's Dracula. It was one of the firsts and very scary if you have the patience to read through 400 pages with each page not necessarily gripping.
For other horrors try the best: Stephen King.

Well, if you want one with romance and action, try the Twilight/New Moon/Eclipse saga. They are awesome!!!

Depending on your age...
There's a young adult series of Vampire books by Darren Shan which are pretty good. I read them when I was younger and enjoyed them.
Bram Stoker's Dracula is a classic vampire tale.
Even though you said you didn't want something romantic like Interview with the Vampire, I must say that Anne Rice is a fantastic writer of classic vampire tales.
