what is a good starting bike?

im short (5'3" ish) and around 120 pounds, i just got my motorcycle permit & i need to find a bike to start out with to practice. Later i want to get a croth rocket so i want soemthing along those lines. But also one that i can hold up and manage. and ideas?(:
 
Have you looked at Suzuki Savages? They are relatively small, 500cc, and have a really low standover height. Also, check out Buell, if you can stand over one of those, its a good street bike for not a lot of money. Good luck
