Ok so about a month ago I recieved a Next Chaos bike from walmart. I know they're cheap and low quality, but it was a gift for my bday. I was happy because its green and I really needed a bike to get around.

A couple days ago I found a Haro bmx Backtrail X1 all black at a yard sale. I thought it was a good deal, but now im hearing all these bad things about it. Idk if its just haters, or the truth, but I thought haro made good quality bikes. So now im thinking about selling it and searching around for a "better" bmx bike for a low price.

My friend might get a chrome free agent and says its better than my haro, is this true?

Oh and my friend already has a bike from a garage sale, but its stripped of all logos. So we don't know what kind of bike it is, but the brakes work awesome and the seat it has is the most comfortable seat I've ever riden on.

What brand of bikes(and type), from your experience, are light, strong, and of good quality for the price? (Im not looking for a brand new bike, don't have the money for it. I want a used one.)

From your experience is haro a bad quality bike?

Haro vs free agent?

How much, if I sell the haro, do you think its worth?(its in good condition: some scratches here and there, some rips on the seat, a little bit of rust on some screws, its ride-able meaning it has both tires that aren't flat, the handle bars aren't shredded up, and the brakes work.)

P.s.
I want to use the bike for jumps and tricks probably most on street(I've heard the haro I have is a heavy bike made for dirt).
I've never ridden before.
Im only 5".

You're only 5? wow.
Ok well, the first thing, it's all up to the rider.
when ever i answer a question and they don't really say much about themselves, then i can only recommend.
Maybe, try out a few bikes.
Which is more comfortable, which is lighter but stronger, fits you the best etc...
Then ask you're mom or dad for help on the overall average.
I would base it on:
Price,
If it fits,
light but strong,
good breaks,
You feel comfortable riding on it,
do you like the colors and look,
reliability
and in case it breaks, you know where to get spare parts that fit for the bike.
I started going of jumps and everyhting when i was 8 so i had more option.
Good luck with finding you're bike and starting to bike.
