What is a good pre workout meal?

I work till 6pm and then head straight to the gym and I find that I get hungry even before I start working out.

I usually have hemp protein/ veggie greens with water, an apple, nuts and maybe some cheese. I find it's not enough.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I'm also trying not to eat any processed sugars so that is making it hard for me too.
