What is a good place to go camping / backpacking in California forest for

advanced hiker? I have hiked in the forests in Minnesota, which are some pretty wild and large forests. I would like to try something similar in California. I am ocated in Southern California, and have noticed on a map, Sequioa park looks quite large, but I see roads run through some of it. I dont want to see any roads when I hike, maybe some camping ground every ten miles or so would be PERFECT!

Any Hikers in Cali who like the forest hikes and camps, please let me know whats up.
