What is a good paint color for a bedroom with brown furniture?

My sister was wondering what color she should paint her room. It has brown furniture, it's a little small, it has one big window, and a chair rail going all the way around it. She likes the color blue, but has an open mind.

Blue is a fantastic colour..blue, pink, peach, red, brown, yellow, orange, green, purple..any colour will go well with brown furnishings.
