What Is A Good Major to Prepare for Law School?

Right now, my major is political science (with a minor in classical studies). I chose it because I enjoy it and thought it would help prepare me best for law school since much of the subjects I learn about deal with law and political effects.

But I keep hearing that English is the better major for law school. As much as I enjoy writing and the like, I don't think I would enjoy the subject as much.

Any opinions?
