I'm giving a speech/presentation on communication in graphic design in which I need to focus on specific attributes. I'm already discussing color (mostly the psychology of it, e.g. blue is associated with stability and trust) and typography. I can't think of another aspect of graphic design that could be done well. It is being presented to non-graphic designers. Any ideas?
What is a good element of graphic design to discuss in regards to how it communicates?
