I know optimum glucose levels are 80-120/140, but I think this will be too low before heading out on a bike outing.
I'm training for a 50 mile race in June and am only starting to get in shape.
Just wondering if anyone out there is an avid cyclist, or work out type and what blood sugar level you start out at before going on a hard work out.
I've been Type 1 since 1996 and I don't think I've ever really gotten a handle on this. I'll either crash mid work out or ride into the 300's.
