what is a good beginner cardio workout routine at the gym?

My girlfriend and I are signing up for the gym because she really wants to lose some wieght. Im not trying to sound mean by saying this but I am only giving you the following information because it may help the people answering. She is about 5'1 and 210 so in my opinon her shortness really hurts her size but like i have told her it is nothing hard work and determination can not change. So here is the question what is a good routine to start her with and i mean please make your answer detailed such as the name of the machine and how many minutes to do each exercise because i will probaly print this out and take it with me. Also is there any kind of supplement she should look into to help her lose the wieght? and as far as her eating habits she does very well things such as tuna,yogurt,chicken,water ,etc .
