I'm a fashion designer and a woman hired me to design and make the dresses for the bridesmaids and the flower girls(she already chose the designs out of my sketchbook that she liked). There are going to be eight dresses in all and I'm going to buy all the material and things I need myself since the owner of the fabric store knows me and always gives me a discount. But anyway she keeps asking me how much it's going to cost but the thing is I'm not sure what to charge since this is my first paying job as a designer and I don't want to ask for too much or she'll go elsewhere but I know if I charge too little I'll be cheating myself. So I was wondering did anyone here know what a good price to set for this that's not too much or too little?
What is a good asking price for making and designing dresses for a wedding party?
