...for the end of March? I have explored Los Padres this winter (Sespe wilderness, San Rafael Wilderness and surrounding areas) and Big Sur is closed until July due to fires that burned last summer, so i am wondering what a good location is that can be done by two very fit guys looking for good scenery, little or no snow to traverse through, and decent water. Somewhere preferably in the lower half of California (Central and Southern is good). We are experienced backpackers and want to do about 8-12 miles per day for 3-4 days (2-3 nights). Thanks!
