I got in my car an hour ago and it was so unbelievably FN hot. After only getting two hours of sleep and sitting there drenched in my sweat for 10 minutes I said to myself why do I live in Florida and not have remote air conditioning (start) for my car.
What is the best valued way to get remote start for my car? 04 explorer.
I have installed around 10 alarms, 3 with an added remote start module and other aux relay for windows and sound system, but that was back in (1995-1999).
Has anything changed? Do they have modules that just plug in somewhere now being that every car has key-less entry? Or do they still require splices into 12 or so basic wires and 3 or so for that starter relays?
My old 1997 python alarm was able to start my car from around a thousand feet away. I have seen some new ones that wont even work from 50 feet away. I have to walk between 500-700 feet to and from my car so distance is really the only feature I want. I dont even need or want an alarm really just my Cold AC flowing.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I plan on ordering it the next week or so, even tho the thought just came to me at an hour ago.
