I have to write a refutation essay on an op/ed article for my university's advanced comp class. I'm having trouble finding articles that are worth my refuting, but I don't want to do something obvious like abortion, the legalization of marijuana, the death penalty etc etc. I'll be honest I don't know a lot about politics and I'd prefer a topic that I already know a large sum of background information. I'm a fashion merchandising student. I would like to find a topic that relates to society/culture, music, fashion, the drug industry, or something of a novelty piece. I want to do something fun. I'm bored of doing the same old topics. All help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
