What is a better life like baby doll for 8 yr old. Vinyl or Silicone?

My daughter wants a real life like baby doll. Not real sure what to get. Not only does she want it to look real but feel real also. I am kinda scared to buy online cause I dont know what the new reborn dolls are like. They have the look but what about the feel.. I am just sooo confused. Does any one know anywhere in Northeast Arkansas that sells these reborn dolls? I am just LOST.....
