University Of Mississippi? I am 13 years old, and have had a dream of being a forensic scientist or a forensic anthropologist for two years. And not a silly little dream, for example: "Ooooh...I saw this person on the television show C.S.I. doing this cool lab stuff and it looks fun so I want to do it." No, not that type of dream. I mean the type of dream and goal where I understand the "real" concept of forensic science. Everybody says I am too young to be worrying about college and such, but I want to achieve my goal. I have done a thorough science fair project on fingerprints, and have textbooks on forensic science. I love it; it's my passion. Like I said before, I don't watch C.S.I., so there as I don't have an inaccurate vision of what this job is. I know, for "real", what this job is and what you do. And I am extremely interested in giving families/people justice, facts, and the truth. I am in 8th grade and have a G.P.A. of 4.0. (Which is the highest possible) In high school I plan to take college classes to get above a 4.0 G.P.A.. I would like to go to the University Of Mississippi for the duration of 8 years or more (If offered). What are the requirement to get accepted? Are there things I should start doing now that could make it easier to get accepted to this school? Or any other tips? This means a lot to me, and I would appreciate any answers.
