what in dash car stereos are the best??? and what brand is the best?

just trying to do a survey because i'm looking for a car stereo for my own car and I only know the basics, and was wondering what everybody else thought. thanx
 
Alpine is the best brand when it comes to head unit/stereos. I think they are one of the best all around companies for car audio (amps, speakers, subs) as well. Others may argue against it but they're wrong.

Best Brand For Car Speakers:
Polk: especially for tweeters
JBL
Rockford Fosgate : especially for kickers/woofers
 
Are you going to hook up a amp to your in dash? if you are your going to want to buy the same named brand in dash.Or you can buy any pioneer.To me its the best it puts out amazing power to your speakers and how they are made you can hook up any amp to it and it well sound good.
