Last Friday, I had a really bad infection in my throat. I lost my voice, had a LOT of discolored sputum, breathing complications, and a slight fever. I was put on strong antibiotics (I forget the name, but it's the ones where you take two the first day, followed by 1 every day for 5 days). I felt as if I was getting better from Sunday through Tuesday, but then Wednesday I started feeling sick again. I am experiencing more breathing issues. I already have asthma, but it feels worse than asthma currently. When I breathe in and out, I can hear a slight bubbling in my lungs or chest or whatever in addition to wheezing. If I walk around for even a little bit, I feel winded and need to stop and catch my breath and cough my head off. My face also feels very hot and looks darker than normal (especially in my cheeks) and I have a terrible headache.
Is it necessary to go back to the doctor's or should I wait it out a little while longer? What do you think I likely have? Yes, I know you aren't all doctors and therefore cannot diagnose me. Be nice please and no negative comments! Thanks.
