Before you all start to tell me to take the cat to the vet, I will tell you that I plan to! I just want to have a general idea of what it could be.
The other day I put my cat out in my garage where he slept. He's a longer hair cat so I assumed he could handle it. The temp at night here is in the 40s now but he was in a pretty warm garage with lots of blankets and pillows. All of a sudden now he is coughing and breathing rather heavy. He is also sneezing but not too much. His nose is slightly runny and his eyes are a bit squinty but I think that's because he was recently sleeping. Is this something serious? Or is it possible that it is just a common cold?
