Both my mum & 16 year old brother had this before me, but on a lesser scale. I'm a 14 year old girl (if this makes any difference). I got this illness suddenly at school and it escalated that day. Firstly, I got a terrible sore throat. Then a headache. Then dizziness and fatigue. I went to the nurse but didn't have a fever - 37.3C - but was given paracetamol which helped a bit. After school though it came back along with feeling freezing cold and shaking uncontrollably. I went straight to bed, and had no appetite.
Today I've had:
Terrible sore throat & painful neck (worst symptom)
bad headache - especially when sitting up
blocked nose
dizzyness & weakness especially in legs when trying to walk
throwing up
chest pain
feverishness (hot then cold)
slight temperature
loss of appetite
If amine could give me an idea of what I have & how to treat it I'd be very grateful
it's 2am and I can't sleep because of all this
