i accidentally broke one of those new energy saving light bulbs, and found out just now that, not only did I clean up the mess incorrectly, and ended up sleeping on the same sheets that had remnants of the mercury, but I also have a cut on my finger from cleaning up the bulb. I just found out that there are high amounts of mercury in these bulbs and in order to clean up and dispose of the broken bulb,(and area) there is a 12 step system. (which they don't put on the box of course)which includes evacuating the room for 15 minutes, shutting off central air and using duct tape to pick up particles that remain. so, after finding this information out just now, and it being too late (since I'm already exposed) what are the effects of this?
