what if you don't have the Open Business cd for Sims 2, can you still have twins?

i have the sims 2 Double Deluxe w/nightlife and the celebration.
 
Of course you can! Why wouldn't be able to? Also, I'm not too sure about the 2nd question because I never wanted to stop the growth, I always wanted to speed it up.Lol!
 
You don't need that expansion pack to have twins, twins happen randomly
Just keep trying and i'm sure you'll be having twins in no time. but if u do have it you can enhance them in Open Business by eating cheesecke That's just an easier way to get twins if you want to get twins without cheesecake and cheats then you just have to have the baby the normal way and maybe they might be twins. Getting twins can be rare though. (can you stop the growth of the parents but not the children) no u cant here are random cheats
