what if ur going out with someone and u really like them and they live far away?

i really like this guy but he lives far away from me but were dating and i don't get to really see him and he is a different race then me (iam white and he is black) which i really love black people and please no one get mad at me for say in that cause i didn't know how else to word that but iam getting ready to graduate from high school and he is the same age as me though and he lives in sc and iam wanting to go to collage but i want to be with him but i don't know if my parents would like me going out with him but iam wanting to be with him so what should i do
