What if my college doesn't have an articulation agreement with the university...

...I want to go to? I'm in a CA community college, and it doesn't have many articulation agreements with colleges out of state. I would like to go to school in WA.

Do some schools still accept credits for classes taken at a school in a different state even if they don't have an articulation agreement?
