In other words- Do you think it aids women that men are so often willing to 'settle' (as opposed to men only desiring the attention of the woman he *really* wants- as many women claim themselves to be wiling to hold out for the attention of the man they desire)? Would relationships only rarely materialize if men held out for the woman they truly wanted?
^The irony that upsets me here is it seems that women mock and at times chastise men for men's penchant to settle for lesser women-to 'do anything that walks', and at men's aptitude to be assertive in going after women all the time. However, isn't it obvious that it is men's diligence in doing these things which gave/gives the women out there their dates, boyfriends and husbands? The idea that men are willing to settle is what gives you women a better chance at finding a man. If men didn't settle then the vast majority of women would be without ever having a boyfriend as the guys would just take turns cycling the desirable women, or be happy to go without.
