For a time I was trying to find another medicine rather than the bad side effects of lyrics.
I was asking my self "how did the old doctors treated thirt patients before lyrica yo relief nerve pain after back surgery?"
I found the answer in st john's.

Let me tell you a secret that I did without my doctor's permission.
After 3 weeks of the surgery I started feeling the side effects of lyrica. I wad depressed, crying for nothing, complaining, and still feeling too much pain. I asked the doctor to give me antidepression but he said no. Then I asked my psychologist fit st john's and she said no, too.
I was too much depressed and thinking of death for no reason.
I was afraid of doing bad things as it was going sever. So I took st john's I'm alternative with lyrica.
In the second day I was feeling MEEE.
I continued using it for 15 days only. Until I was shore that I'm not thinking negative.

When the doctor doubled the dosage of lyrica, I was afraid of mixing things yogather. Now thanks God I'm not thinking of death. But I'm not fine.
I have a lot of mood swing, shouting a lot, not controlling my feelings, very bad attetude, play with my kiRAB when they are not crying, but when one of them cries I egnore them and let someone else take care of them. I forget, repeat wrong things, crying, too much depressed. I don't even work when I'm at work. Just check facebook, work on my own business, and do less than minimum just to keep my job. I'm just getting fat even with 800 calories diet. No metabolism. 3 bigger sizes. Fiting a lot with my husband.
I am really tired of this bad going out of me. I can't stand it any more & I can't quit lyrica in the same time.
That is why I did some searches on st john's & I found it worths a trial. But before I try it, did any one try it before?
What are your openions and revommendations!

I'm planning to quit lyrica by taking smaller dosage every week until I get rid of it and replace it with st john's.

Please don't go off oa Lyrica without telling your doctor. There are side effects that you need to consider.

Thanks for relying.
Before I read your post, yesterday I take lyrica 75 at morning, and 150 at evening. I'm between there was st john's and some pain killers.
Today, I did the same.
There is more pain on the nerve. But the mood is better than before.
I visited the doctor today and told him what I did. He said that I should not just quet lyric. And I can adjust the dosage of lyrica according to pain level and what I feel, but he doesn't recommend st. Johns as he is afraid that I could affect to it.

My answer was, that I was on lyrica 75 x2 daily until I got back to work... Which means I should be able to reduce it if don't stress or put big effort on my back.
Regarding st john's. After the surgery of 3 months I wasn't thinking but bad. & I used it against doctors advice... The effect appeared in 2 days that I felt better, I could go out of home, sleep well at night then I cut it after 3 weeks.

I just want to live normal.
