What if a Supreme Court Justice is unfit for duty and refuses to resign?

I can't seem to figure this out anywhere on the web. I know that a Supreme Court Justice, once appointed, serves as a justice for life, unless he/she resigns. But what if they become unfit for duty, like they become deathly ill and they can't function correctly? Thnx in advance.
