What if a person was born with cricket bat arms...can he use his arm to hit the ball?

If by some unfortunate accident of birth a person should be born with a cricket bat where his arm should be (kinda like Edward Scissorhands)...is there anything in the rules that would prevent him from using his arm as a bat?
